I've been using the Logitech MX Keys keyboards for years, ever since they first came out back in 2019. I love this keyboard. It has a low profile, killer customization software, and easy pairing with multiple devices. And right now, the MX Keys Mini model (the one without a numpad) is on sale for $80, its lowest price ever.
The flat, chiclet-style keys are super smooth and comfortable, and flat enough that you can throw this keyboard in a laptop bag without worrying about damage. Flatter keys aren't necessarily for everyone, but if you're like me and enjoy them for work, these are some of the best I've felt outside of a super expensive laptop.
The Logitech Options+ software makes the Logitech MX Keys even more productive. For the longest time, I exclusively used gaming peripherals for getting work done, in part because only gaming devices had customization tools that let me create custom shortcuts and macros. Options+ brings that power to everyone: You can use it to assign shortcuts to any keys you like (perhaps make that CapsLock key more useful?) and create custom macros to execute complex-but-repetitive tasks.
The MX Keys Mini also effortlessly pairs with multiple devices using Logitech's excellent wireless suite. It supports three device profiles, so you can switch between typing on your desktop, your laptop, or your tablet with a single button press. If you tend to move between workspaces a lot, this can be a huge time saver.
I can also attest to their longevity, as I've used these keyboards for as long as I can remember. I've been using the Mini's big brother, the MX Keys S, on a daily basis since it came out in 2023, and there's no noticeable degrading or failures. It works almost exactly like when I first got it, though now that I'm looking closely, it might need a bit of cleaning.
